Navigation

The site offers basic and advanced navigation and content retrieval mechanisms.

To accomodate technically less equipped users with slower connection speeds, this text-based site is optimized for generation 3.0 browsers and above, and is adapted for a screen resolution of 640x480 pixels, using a 256 colors palette.

Menu Bars

A slanted square in the top menu bar indicates your current position within the OCPA Web site (as does the footer information at the bottom of each page) and gives quick access to the main information sections. The footer also provides convenient hierarchical access to the parent information units, and links back to the site home page.

The left-hand margin links to the respective subordinate content units of each of the principal sections or particular pages. These links lead either to headings lower on the current page and to further related information on separate pages.

Site Map

To give insight into the site structure and speed up navigation to a specific topic, the site map offers a linked overview of the content structure of the entire site.

Search

A search mechanism has been set up to facilitate content retieval by searching for specific words or expressions through the HTML pages of the entire site.

The search mechanism is available throughout the site from the top of each page, providing access to a simple search form, as well as an advanced search form which allows the specification of certain search criteria, such as word or phrase matching and document dating.

Search tips give detailed instructions on how to form the search queries to receive the most relevant results.

Tools

The download area offers access to browser and reader software tools, facilitating the display of all OCPA Web site contents.

Translation

In order to translate any page of the OCPA Web site into your own working language to get a rough idea about its content, copy the URL (http address) of that page from your browser's address bar and paste it into the Babel Fish Translation form, AltaVista's free translation service. Select your target language and press the 'Translate' button.

Linking to OCPA

As the OCPA Web site does not make use of frames, all of its pages may be linked to or bookmarked directly. For any other acceptable use of the site contents, please see the copyright notice.
