Meeting of the Scientific Committee in charge of the preparation of the 1st Euro-African Campus of Cultural Co-operation

Maputo, Mozambique, 8 – 10 April 2008

Organized by OCPA and Interarts Foundation (Barcelona) with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Co-operation for Development (AECID, Madrid), the meeting was attended by some 20 European and African experts of international cultural co-operation, as well as by representatives of the Mozambican authorities and partner organizations, which may be interested in participating in the organization of the event.

The meeting discussed the project presented by the organizers and made proposals concerning the contents, the programme, the participants and as well as the intellectual and technical preparation of the Campus.

The main aim of the Campus is to provide a meeting, training and exchange point for cultural agents in Africa and Europe to reflect, transfer knowledge, exchange experiences and discuss possible joint initiatives of cultural co-operation in the broader context of sustainable development.
